Alongside working fulltime at JAZZ.FM91, Jelani freelances as a saxophonist and pianist. He performs in styles ranging from gospel to jazz to afro. He has released a few singles that are available on all streaming services and has been a featured artist on many of emerging artist, Idris Lawal's, songs in the past few years. Besides recording, you can find him playing keys at churches around the GTA every weekend.

Liz K
Liz is a graduate of York University, where she studied classical voice and did a minor in French. She has taken part in many choirs both with the school and outside, including a performance at Carnegie Hall back in 2019 where she sang Faure’s Requiem. She went to Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts in their musical theatre program and loves theatre music and sharing her learning. She also plays the flute and oboe in a media music band for which she has had the pleasure of arranging. Liz aspires to go to teacher's college so she can share her knowledge with as many young people as she can.

Neanne S
Neanne Sta Monica is a passionate and dedicated piano teacher with over six years of experience. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Comprehensive Classical Piano from the University of Toronto and has taught students of all ages, from beginners to advanced. Neanne tailors her lessons to each student's learning style and needs, helping them achieve their musical goals.
Neanne has a proven track record of success. She has prepared students for RCM exams and recitals, and has helped them achieve high grades and awards. She is also a skilled accompanist and has played for singers and duets during performances and tests.

Tania Cherneta is a music teacher (voice, piano, bandura, recorder), professional
musician, researcher, reviewer, and member of the jury for art competitions and festivals.
She holds two Master’s Degrees from the National Music Academy of Ukraine and the
National Academy of Management of Culture and Arts. Tania conducted research and
obtained her PhD degree in the History of Arts (2012). She is the author of 4 books and
40 articles. Dr. Cherneta worked as an Associate Professor at The Faculty of Music of
Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University (2016-2023) and as an expert for the Ukrainian
Cultural Foundation (2019-2023).
Tania currently lives in Vaughan, teaches at Marsman
Music Academy, Toronto Waldorf School, and Rudolf Steiner College Canada. She has
more than 20 years of experience teaching music to kids and adults.

Alona Mylanych is a passionate piano teacher with a strong musical background. Inspired by her musical family, she started playing piano at 6 and pursued a career in music, earning multiple degrees in Ukraine. With 13 years of teaching experience, she caters to students of all ages and levels, using diverse methods to ensure effective learning. Alona prioritizes her students' happiness and helps them build good practice habits, improve technique, and develop music appreciation.

Aloysius is an up-and-coming musician, proficient at both violin and piano (and a bit of guitar). With over 5 years of teaching experience and 15 years of performing, he has successfully helped numerous students achieve their musical goals. His familiarity with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) reflects his commitment to excellence in music education.
His primary goal as a music teacher is to foster a deep love and appreciation for music in his students. He aims to develop not only their musical skills but also their critical thinking, character, and emotional expression. By helping students connect with music on a personal level, Aloysius hopes to cultivate a lifelong passion for music.
Creating a student-centered learning environment is at the core of his teaching philosophy. He is sensitive to the student’s reactions during the lessons to make sure that they are comprehending the information. Aloysius ensures that each student can progress at their own pace. As Ken Petti said, “Every flower blooms in its own time.”

Jerome is one of the Vocal teachers at Marsman Music Centre. He is also a singer/songwriter and recording artist for vocals also. He works with students on “pronunciation, vocal range, stage presence, and helps students to get acquainted with the various styles of music by performing styles from different Music Eras. Jude P
Jude, a Yamaha Music drum demonstrator and educator from India, has extensive experience conducting music workshops and creating popular drum pad kits. He is a skilled music educator, specializing in teaching children and adults of all ages, and even provides free music education to underprivileged children. His classes combine performance, theory, fun, and technique, allowing students to develop their musical communication skills and gain confidence to perform on stage.
He pursued his music education from the Trinity College London with distinction. With over 15 years of experience in music education, he specializes in teaching kids from age 5 to 15, and has also taught teenagers and adults till age 75.

Amir A
Amir Ali Razaghi is a composer, conductor, and piano pedagogue. Born in Tehran, Iran in 1979, he began his musical journey at the age of 11, studying piano with Emanuel Melik Aslanian and later composition with Ahmad Pejman.
Razaghi holds a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music Composition from the University of Tehran. Following his graduation, he moved to London, England to further his studies in conducting, piano pedagogy, and composition.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Amir is passionate about fostering the musical and technical development of his students. He combines a disciplined and motivational approach with the academic rigour found in leading music schools and conservatories worldwide.

Chris Evans uses teaching strategies based on the merits of encouragement, enthusiasm, engagement, mutual respect, collaboration, clarity, and making learning enjoyable. This approach has proven highly successful.
He has many years of experience working with students of all ages and possesses refined expertise in teaching a variety of instruments, including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, lead guitar, electric bass, drums, percussion, ukulele, keyboards, and vocals. His instruction also encompasses music theory, music history, and songwriting.

Layla T
Layla teaches piano at Marsman Music. She has completed her grade 8 RCM examinations and has been playing piano for fifteen years while teaching for five years. She has a background in musical theatre and used to be a piano accompanist for the various musicals she was a part of. Layla also plays the violin and has experience working with an orchestra and a choir. Her favourite musical genres are musical theatre and jazz. She enjoys teaching students of all ages and skill levels. Her goal is to watch her students progress with their musical journey, find their musical passion and have fun in the process!

Miguel A
Miguel is a media composer and music teacher. He currently teaches violin, viola, guitar and electric bass. He went to study at Humber's Intro to Jazz program for violin in 2019 and studied with world class musicians. A lot of his teaching inspiration comes from his professors and instructors at Humber. Not the intense Jazz repertoire but the fun calm environment. He's quite relaxed and likes to go at a slow focused pace to fully engross a student in all the great qualities of music. Miguel is also a songwriter and composer working on short films and video-game soundtracks.
He is experienced with classical, rock, folk, funk, soul, R&B and pop music. He has performed in many bands and ensembles in all those genres at his time at Humber and after!

Pat R
Pat has been a professional musician since the age of 17. He started out on a weekly CBC TV show, in the middle 1960's, playing piano and singing. In 1972 he began playing piano and singing with Canada's Anne Murray. In 1975 he was made Anne's Musical Director. He has conducted orchestras all over the world including North America, Europe, Japan and Australia in live concerts and on TV. He has played piano on over a dozen hit records and has a Juno Award. He has been teaching for 17 years, all ages and all styles, both piano and voice. He loves to watch his students grow musically through patience, understanding and encouragement.

Sahar N
Sahar is a classical violinist with 10 years experience teaching violin both privately and in various institutions. Her students have included children as young as four years old to adults. She graduated from the Tehran Music School with a diploma in Classical violin and has also studied the "Suzuki Method." Sahar has played in the Iranian orchestras including the Nilper String Orchestra (Tehran Contemporary Music Festival Orchestra), the Aiso Orchestra, the Albortz Orchestra, the Tehran Music School Orchestra, and the Prima Orchestra. Additionaly, she has worked with the Vaahe Art Collective as a violinist and is a member of "Iran Music House." Sahar loves listening to and playing Baroque era music, especially the violin works by Balch and Vivaldi. Sahar looks forward to teaching what she loves doing most.

Stephen S
Stephen's passion for music began at an early age playing music at his local church. As his love for music grew, he aspired to broaden his musical knowledge and began learning new instruments including: guitar, drums, piano, bass guitar and ukulele. After many years of playing in various types of bands, he decided to pursue music in a post-secondary setting. Stephen attended the Music Industry Arts and Performance program at Centennial College, where he majored in guitar, received mentorship from many industry professionals, and was able to learn both theory and business aspects related to music. Throughout his time at Centennial, he received many scholarships including the Jim and Irene Scott Academic Achievement Scholarship and graduated in the summer of 2017. Seeking to share his passion for music with others, Stephen's teaching philosophy emphasizes the joy and excitement in playing and learning music.

Yalene has over 10 years of teaching experience in piano in both classical and popular repertoire. She completed her piano education with the Royal Conservatory of Music in 2017 and has continued to teach for various ages and levels of expertise. She is committed to guiding her students to attain their individual music goals through a holistic approach. Outside of teaching, Yalene is an independent singer and songwriter and has released music on streaming platforms.
